This is a great product for lunch boxes, to keep meals warm until lunchtime. Meals don't stay super hot, but are not cold by the time noontime rolls around. Easy to open and close. The lid is a bit hard to clean, so dishwasher is the better alternative.

I purchased this in hopes that I could take hot meals on the road with me. Unfortunately it doesn't hold heat very well and keeps food lukewarm at best. I'm microwaving the food to a pretty hot temp in the morning and then eating on average 4-5 hours later.

This definitely does keep food warm for several hours. If I put food in the jar it will stay warm for at least 4 hrs. I just make sure to put boiling water in the jar for 5 mins before. I would recommend this product.

Keeps the kids food hot for lunch! Used 5 days a week and she never want to go back to sandwiches. Put hot food in around 8am and she opens around noon and says its still steaming hot! (I put boiling water in it first for about 10 minutes)

Great for my 5 year old. 10oz is the perfect size for nuggets, soup or spaghetti. It keeps it warm for over 6 hours. Just preheat it with boiling water for 5 minutes, empty and fill it up with the warm food.

This is great little thermos. My son's daycare does not provide food and unfortunately they can not reheat the one provided by parents. Now I can give my son some warm meal especially during winter time. So far so good and we do not have any leaks or problems. When my daughter will be older she will get one too.

Nerdy, adorable AND functional.Yes, good.I use it all the time for my lunch. All the other college kids wish they were as cool as me!Do know that this is a SMALL thermos. A cup is 8 ounces and this is 10 ounces, so it only holds a 1 1/4 cups of liquid. I bought a tiny thermos on purpose, but if you're looking for something to hold a whole can of Progresso soup or whatever, this'll be too small for you.

This is a very nice Thermos at a decent price. I use this for my son's school lunches and his food stays warm from 6:45 am when it goes in there until 11:30 am when he eats lunch. This holds up well and my son (who is 5) can open the Thermos himself most of the time. Is has a wide enough mouth that you can eat right from the container. I would highly recommend only hand-washing this as I'm afraid it could get some etching if placed in the dishwasher.
