Bought this thermos so my son can have a hot meal at school for lunch. This thermos is great. I preheat it in the morning by putting boiling water in it. Several minutes later i replace the water with the hot food. My son said it is still hot by lunch time 5 hours later. It's easy to clean too, however the rubber gasket does easy stain with tomato based soups and sauces, but the gasket comes off and may be replaceable by contacting Thermos company. Overall great item, would highly recommend.
