It's fine, but a little cheaper looking than I had hoped. Guess I should have known for the low price. Has magnetic close. Unfortunately, if you fill it full of tea bags sitting upright, lid won't close all the way. That's kind of s bummer. Seems like a design flaw? Overall, it's fine and I'm satisfied with it, just not blown away by any means.

This is the first time I’ve ever ordered anything from Amazon and been disappointed. The box was is good shape but when opened the tea box was in pieces. The end pieces were not attached and when we removed it from the packaging it fell apart. Not worth the money!!!!

If you lay the tea packets flat, it’s pretty nice. I thought you could also stand them up but the case doesn’t close if you do. I wish the magnets were stronger or there was a way to clasp it closed.

Disappointed... the kid doesn’t close. I didn’t put my tea bags in it and it stays open. Hooray , nice box to hold my tea and stay open I suppose. Bummed. Hoped for better since I’m a tea lover

This box is beautiful plus it nicely stores our teas. It has a magnetic closure and is easy to close and open. It has a lid with glass to easily see what teas you have.

I think the quality on these is hit or miss. The first one I received had chips out of the corners and a fair amount of wood putty. I returned that one. The second one looks great and I'm very happy with it. I'm using it for a display case, not for tea and it's the perfect size for a shelf or end table. The bamboo is a nice looking texture.

Well, it's bamboo. It looks like the picture. A little disappointing that the "glass" is just a very thin plexiglass which seems to bend easily and is quite fond of static cling. Biggest problem I have so far noticed is that the hinges are loose, which ordinarily would not be a problem except that the screws can't be tightened because the holes are stripped. I am hoping that, when I get some free time, I will be able to take it apart and rebuild the holes and remount the hinges.

This is a very nice bamboo container for tea. The glass lid is helpful to see what teas you have inside the box.However, if you buy teas other than the standard Lipton, the packages will prevent the lid from closing completely. This box should have been made about 1/8 inch deeper to allow the storage of boutique and larger tea bags.

I like the smell and look of this and I got really excited to store my tea (I was going to paint the word "tea" on and everything) but if you place the tea like a filing cabinet, the lid will not close. A bit of a bummer but it still satisfies its use.

I should have read the previous reviews before I purchased as I was sadly disappointed today when I received this. One, the lid is plastic and I was expecting glass. It was wrapped in cellophane and the plastic wrap was difficult to remove. See picture below. It was also poorly constructed, with one piece coming loose right out of the box. For something that will be used as frequently as a tea box in our home, I am returning this. As the saying goes... "you get what you pay for," but this isn't even worth the $17 I paid.

Love this Tea Box. I always wanted one, and decided to get one for my family's vacation home. It adds a bit of fanciness when I'm away from home. Plus I am a big tea drinker so it was nice that this tea box has 8 sections. Its a well made box and I like that its a glass top and not plastic.
