This is okay, but there's no lid for the metal filter so you can just steam milk. Also, the steaming arm isn't long enough for my taste. The milk never gets hot, and since I can't steam without making espresso I am stuck putting my milk in the microwave. Would have liked it better if those two things were fixed. I like the pressure indicator though, and although there is a smell at first, it is wearing off.

I had a Krups for years, and when it died I looked for another-no luck. I found good reviews for the Bella, and I am totally satisfied. I haven't had it long enough to rate its durability, but it's easy to use and makes a great cup of coffee quickly.

The sector knob is difficult to manipulate and the steamer really disappointed my. I like really thick foam - doesn't happen. Would not purchase it again.

Good expresso maker. Coffee comes out great. I went to a restaurant store and got a milk steam pitcher. Use the proper cup to steam your milk. Once I did the milk was perfectly foamed. I no longer have to waste money on overpriced Starbucks again!

This apparatus has paid for itself again and again. I love it a lot. The only problem is that I didn't realize what the clip was for so I didn't use it correctly and now it won't do its job. There wasn't anything in the manual for it. Oh well I just won't get to use the clip. Also we remove the lid on top of the cup because it makes a mess so we just don't even use it and it works fine.

Overall satisfied but thrown off by some plastic parts that are usually metal such as strainer and it doesn't sit entirely flat - I think its the chord placement?

There are several machines on the market that appear to use the same innards but have varying plastic parts. We chose this one because the knob and cap were easier to grip than those on some other brands. We have come to think of this as a disposable item, since it never lasts more than a year at the most. We tried a vinegar cleaning (we have moderately hard water) but the coffee/steam/off valve jammed within a month of doing that, making the unit useless. On another unit, the knob just snapped off, making the unit useless. We have bought these from several different vendors. The one with the knob that broke off came from eztreasures, a vendor with excellent reviews. I sent them a message and they ignored it. Amazon displayed an absurdly brief warranty interval. The manufacturer said I had passed the limit of their warranty too. Still, this one does what I need it to do and is not very expensive. I am about to replace yet another. I suspect that hard water leads mineral deposits that eventually destroy the valve. How frequently would I have to clean the machine with vinegar to prevent that? I don't know, but once every few months is evidently not enough. Once again, the valve of my current machine has been getting sticky, and I'm going to throw the machine away before it jams in the middle of making coffee again.

Excellent machine for under $30. We have been using it almost daily for a few weeks now. It was a Valentines Day present for my husband. Along with a burr grinder. It's easy to use, easy to clean and so far has given us zero problems.

It's so cute and tiny. Perfect for making a 4 shots of espresso or 2 servings of coffee. Depending on the freshness of the ground, I do get a bit of crema. Milk steamer works best with hot milk, and don't take the plastic off. I wish the bottom kept the coffee warm tho. It loses heat almost immediately. Would recommend to other beginners or budget conscious coffee drinkers.

NEG: Knob to turn on is small and hard to turn. A little more unstable than the Mr Coffee unit. Wish there was an auto off after 15 minutes... the ON light is not very bright and sometimes forget to turn unit off.POS: Steam wand has good placement and is long enough to steam small amount of liquid in cup.

It is good. Works as expected. Watch out though...if it starts to get clogged like MOST cheap espresso makers tend to..just do a vinegar cleanse on it and it should go right back to normal. Look up "how to clean espresso maker with vinegar."

Works very well for the price. I have steamed milk, soy milk, almond milk and all were very foamy. The espresso was good too. Overall very happy with it. Just takes a little while (5 minutes?) before the espresso/steam is ready but I suppose it does need time to heat the 2 cups of water. A little loud but other than that, for the price, it is worth it.

Absolutely great value for the money. Works just like my previous one that was made by a different manufacturer, but looked and worked very similarly. I once owned three (1 from my Grandma, used, and two others from a thrift store). Got rid of two and then eventually the motor just simply burned up. Lasted at least ten years.

Great Espresso Maker But The Carafe Lid Falls Off When Pouring the Espresso.The lid has three plastic tabs that hold the lid to the carafe. I gently heated each tab with a heat gun and used small pliers to slowly bend up each tab. This stopped the lid from falling off when pouring the coffee.

Basic machine for the price does the job..take a little while to heat up. For me perfect compact makes about 8 ounces of coffee at a time. I see the complaints are cheap.. Its plastic outside put the coffee handle is metal and the inside is metal

I purchased this instead of the basic Mr. Coffee espresso machine in order to save a few bucks. The steamer didn't work, even after allowing more than sufficient build up of steam pressure. Returned immediately and bought the Mr. Coffee model. After experiencing both, the Mr. Coffee model is worth the few extra dollars.

If you like espresso/lattes and don't want to spend a fortune, this little gadget is really, really worth having! Can you spend $3K and get a better espresso maker? I'll bet you can. But if you are a normal coffee addict like me, this is a huge treat you don't have to feel guilty about! It costs about what I spend on 6 coffees at a shop. And I'm pretty picky about my coffee. Not a true expert, but a darned picky coffee fan. Also, I hate complex cleanup and this is very easy to clean - run three pieces under some water on occasion. And wipe off the milk steamer thing - I use a clorox wipe for that. There are a couple of cons to this, but again, for the price it is worth it. The maker is cheaply made. If mine last a year, I'll be tickled and order another. I expect to have the little knob to break - nothing a small vise grip won't replace. The power light is dim and sporadic - not useful. And I called support when I thought it wasn't working because the power light wasn't on. That was a complete waste of time. Just read the simple directions, ignore the power light, and enjoy a really yummy latte at home for a reasonable price. (side note: no one paid me for this review, darn it.)

Instruction Manual on page 7 shows measuring spoon in accessories. Page 8 explains how to use it. I wonder why they did not put a spoon into the box.After my call to Sensio customer service they told me that they don't have spare spoons for replacement. But I do not ask for replacement. Of course I can use a teaspoon instead. I just want to get something I paid for. If Sensio can't supply this part better to exclude it from the instruction and reduce a price.
