It is unfortunate the filter is not consistent as far as dimensions from top to bottom. Unable to properly tamper the espresso into the filter. The filter at the top is 2 inches (51mm), then tapers/narrows down to 1.5 inches 38mm at the bottom. I will have to look separately for a 38mm tamper. Serious flaw!

I had the previous version which I feel was built much sturdier, it lasted a few years. This version is cheap plastic. Started smelling electric burring for the last 3 days this morning it just didn't work. Won't order again.

This product has a terrible design. When you place it on a flat surface, it rocks back and forth. Had I known this I would not have bought it. Delohngi makes a better machine. Very disappointed.I want to change my evaluation of this machine. I found that the machine would rock back and forth because the plug wire was hitting the piece of plastic under the machine. Once you wrap the wire around the plastic it stays flat. everything seems fine once corrected.after using this machine for two weeks I have come to the conclusion that this is the WORST coffee machine that I have ever owned. It is supposed to be an espresso machine yet it does not make espresso coffee. The coffee is so weak that it is horrible; even if you reduce the water it still makes weak coffee. I am going to throw this piece of junk out in the trash.

you cant get true espresso with this price but i get dark coffee. i use it for iced lattes (after cooling, or itll be way too watery) and its decent but definitely not like coffee shop espresso. no complaints though because i got it for $30, it paid for itself. so i dont love it but its a really convenient buy for the price. i have been using this for over a year and it's still going with no problems. i'll probably use it for another few months before i invest in a better espresso machine.

Used it on weekends for about 2 months (gave it to my boyfriend as a christmas gift) and it completely stopped working a couple weeks ago. We splurged and got a Nespresso machine, definitely worth it. Don’t waste your money on this.

Bought this Bella Personal Espresso Maker not even 2 months ago. The handle broke off the coffee scope! My prior Bella Espresso Maker lasted nearly 6 years without one single issue. Very disappointed in the change for the worse with this company!

Overall this machine does what it is intended to do.Some things to note are the plastic lid on carafe’ does not stay on while pouring and the power switch was stiff at first but after a couple of uses moves freely as it should.

So happy we decided to finally buy an espresso machine. We didn’t want to spend a lot of money on anything fancy, but pleased with the quality for a reasonable price. The package came with everything we needed and easy to follow instructions. I’ve only burned my finger tips once in my first attempt at a cappuccino when I tried to touch the metal portion of the milk frother. PSA: don’t touch the metal part of the frother that hot steam flows through. Only complaint, it takes over five minutes to brew.

had it for about a week, I usually by Krups cheaper model, but decided to try this one..it is just fine as well. No complaints. Typically am hard on espresso machines, making two a day, every day, so time will tell. But seems solid, I can press the coffee down pretty hard and even get a decent creme. Does the job.

I will have to throw this pot away. So disappointed. There’s calcium buildup on the inside and comes out in my coffee.This must be why you sold it.I cleaned it once but is still coming out. So disappointed ?

I love my new Expresso Maker. Def worth the money. The flavor of the Expresso is wonderful and the steaming wand works fabulous. But my question is this: It takes a long time for the expresso to come out. It drips for quite a long time. I would have thought the steam pressure would have been more forceful or quicker. I am not sure if this is happening because I am doing something wrong or this might be totally normal. I don't think I am tamping the grinds down too hard. This is my first experience at making expresso at home. Any advice?

Didn't function right out of the box. Returned because it would leak steam and water everywhere when making espresso. Also as others have mentioned, the control knob is very stiff and I could tell it was only a matter of time before that would break.

The espresso is great, the steam wand is awful though. The wand relies on the same pressure that the espresso does, so you gotta wait for it to build up in the machine and not make espresso, steaming the milk first, but it doesn't make good microfoam at all and it also won't heat the milk at all. It might just be my machine, too.

What a disappointment! I wanted to like this little, inexpensive model but I just can't give it a favorable review. The espresso holding handle doesn't even clip on the basket. It is held on with the pressure of your fingers. My "operation knob" was placed incorrectly leaving "Espresso" as the "Off" position. It drips anywhere it can. And perhaps the most damning thing I can say . . . I would never walk away and leave the operating machine unattended even for a few seconds. I was not expecting a Starbucks proprietary machine, but I did want something a little more substantive.

The machine brews quickly, but the nozzle on top is hard to open without grip grooves. The coffee holder handle has already come lose and is falling off after only using it a month.
