7歳の娘のクリスマスプレゼントにしました。

「ママのお手伝いをしたいから、子ども用の包丁をください！」と今年のクリスマスプレゼントのリクエストカードに書いていた、７歳になる娘今朝、クリスマスツリーの下に置かれたプレゼントを開くと、【貝印リトルシェフクラブ子供用調理器8点セット FG-5009】を見つけ、大喜びで寝室に駆けこんできました。「包丁だけをお願いしたんだけど、サンタさんたら、色々入ったセットをくれたよぉぉ〜　コレでケーキを作ったり、サラダ作ったり、お味噌汁だってできちゃいそ〜」ってとても喜んでいました。そして早速、今夜の夕ご飯のカレーライスに入れる、ニンジンやジャガイモをピーラーで皮むきし、包丁で刻んだり、オタマでカレーをかき混ぜたりと、とても楽しそうに、お料理してました。ママと並んだその姿を見て、買ってよかったなぁと思いました。

侮れない「切れ味」

２歳半の娘が料理の手伝いをしたがるので、使い古した果物ナイフを使わせていました。しかし、押し切りして切れないような果物ナイフでも、引き切りすれば切れ、先は尖っているので危ないかな、と思い、購入しました。切ったり刺さったり、怪我をして正しい使い方を覚えていくのも大事だと思いましたが、さすがに取り返しがつかない怪我は避けたかったので……。　試しにキャベツの芯の部分を、繊維にそって縦に切ってみましたが、使っていた果物ナイフ以上の「切れ味」でした(刃がないので切れていると言うのが正しいかどうか……)　柄の長さや大きさも子どもに使いやすいサイズなので、これでたくさん手伝ってもらおうと思います。　ちなみに

3歳頃から手伝いに夢中な娘の4歳の誕生日に購入。注文した翌日に届きました。レビューにもありましたので、フライ返しはテフロン加工以外のものに使用しようと思います！たまたま在庫処分価格で3千円以下で購入できてほんとラッキーでした！破格！(*^_^*)それぞれ柄の部分には動物の絵が書いてあるので、子どもにはぴったりです！誕生日までもう少しなので、調理器具を使って何を始めに作ろうか考えるのも楽しみです！料理が嫌いな母親ですが、子どもと作るとなると楽しみですね！

以前、ギザ刃の子供包丁を使わせていたのですが、何も切れない。せいぜい薄いハム程度。逆に力いっぱい押し切りする姿が危なっかしく見え。。。安さとレビューを参考に購入。感想↓どなたかも書いていらっしゃいましたが刃先はお好み焼きのへらみたい。触っただけでは切れません。4歳娘がにんじん大根切れて大喜び。多少力が要るようですが、許容範囲。買ってよかったと思います。

息子の３歳の誕生日プレゼントに購入。半年前くらいから、台所の手伝いをしてくれるようになり、果物ナイフを持たせたりしていたのですが、段々動きがダイナミックになってきたので、本物の刃物は危ないと思い、本品を購入。見た目もおもちゃには見えないし、思っていたより切れ味もよく、親子で満足しています。きゅうりもきれいに切ることができ、息子が切ったきゅうりは浅漬けにして食べます。ただ、葉物野菜は難しく、筋のあるものは無理です。料理は、情操教育にはもってこいらしいので親子で楽しくやっています。あ、＜なす＞は、切れません。皮が危ないです！購入を考えている方には、お勧めしたい商品です。

本格刃付とありますが、期待してはいけません。幼児にはいいと思いますが小学校の高学年だと物足りないかも。野菜やソーセージは切れますが、りんごの皮むきは大人でもなかなかできません。ステーキナイフと同レベルの切れ味です。刃を指で触ってもそれほど危険ではなく、一般のハサミのほうがまだ切れ味がいいイメージです。とりもも肉は生では皮まで切れないですが、チルドならザクザクいけました。ママのお手伝いや、はじめての料理　などにはいいと思います。

誕生日と言えばいつもオモチャばっかりだったので、今回は調理器具セットにしました。大人顔負けのセットで、おたまや皮むき器は私もちゃっかり普段使っています。本人も男の子ですがノリノリでお手伝いしてくれます(笑)他の方のレビューにもありますが、フライ返しが安っぽくてフライパンにキズが入りそうです。それ以外は安いし満足です！

Fantastic knife. I bought this for my 5 and 7 year old to help with chopping. They can both use it independently. I've even done a little chopping with it. It's sturdy and was fairly sharp (nothing crazy). They can cut up most veggies and fruit including carrots, peppers, cucumbers, apple, etc. It's a great size for their little hands and I like the rounded end. Would definitely recommend.

I purchased one of these knives to use in my kids cooking classes last year and I really liked it because it was safe for the kids to use but did cut things, preventing a lot of frustration that occurs with other "safety" knives. However, I just purchased 5 more and they are so much sharper than the first one I purchased. I cut myself twice just while washing and drying. Did you change something in materials or workmanship that would account for a sharper blade? I am now concerned with having my young students use these!!!

I bought this knife for my 5 year old who is always in my feet wanting to help when I cook. He loves to chop up veggies and was previously using a butter knife which didn't get the job done without a ton of frustration on his part. He decided to ask Santa for a starter knife for Christmas, and this was the perfect knife for him! It fits really well into his little hand, and he easily chops onions, bell pepper, and celery, and I don't have to worry about him getting hurt. The blade is blunt enough so that it won't cut little fingers, but it does a good job cutting crisp foods like veggies and soft foods like bananas. He loves to wash it after we are done chopping and puts it in my knife block along with my sharp knives so he feels like it is a real chef's knife. If you have an aspiring little chef in your house, this is the perfect beginner knife for them.

I purchased this knife for my 7 and 9 year old kids so they could help me cook. They both love this knife and fight over who gets to use it because it cuts well and they think of it as a "real" chef knife. I also bought them plastic lettuce knives for chopping and food preparation, but they don't like those nearly as much. I decided to buy a second Kai Little Chef knife so they will each have a knife and no longer need to share.
