I've used Vapur bottles for the last few years and just love them. They're lightweight. Water itself is heavy; I love that the bottle adds little weight of its own! They are easy to store; just roll it up and use the carabiner to hold it all together. Speaking of the carabiner, it works great to attach to a purse or backpack.This 1-liter bottles is a really nice size. Big enough not to have to refill it often, small enough to still be easily totable. The dark color means the water inside may heat up on hot days; this will probably be more of an indoor or winter Vapur for me.A couple of tips:-Vapur bottles don't fit well in car cupholders. Sometimes I put mine in the map pocket of my door instead.-For larger Vapurs, I hand wash; for smaller, I use the dishwasher. For all sizes, I often wash the top in the dishwasher. However I wash it, I end up propping it in a drying rack until it's completely dry before rolling it up, so that it doesn't mildew.

When it comes to water bottles, there’s so many different kinds. Some come with built in straws, some that are squeezable, some made with plastic, and some made with glass. It really depends what your utmost priority is for purchasing the water bottle. The case being made here for Vapur is that space is the most valuable attribute for the water bottle. By making it out of plastic and allowing it to fold when the bottle is empty is quite nice. But this causes a couple of downstream problems as well. When you open the cap, you can easily squeeze the water out by accident. If you’re on a long hike, underutilizing the water you have can be a huge mistake and lead to dehydration. Also, one of the selling points is the ability to use less space as you consume more water. Although you can make the bottle more compact as you drink, it’s really not that practical. Because once again, you’d be worried about squeezing out water to optimize the space. Cleaning the bottle is relatively easy by unscrewing the cap to rinse. It also comes with a belt clip which is nice if you want to hook it to your backpack. Since it’s made of plastic, you’ll have a little bit of aftertaste. Overall, if compact packing is your number 1 priority, this is a good buy. But for me, I’m content with normal squeezable and/or stainless steel bottles. Especially if you’re just hooking these to the backpack straps, it doesn’t make too much of a difference.

This is less a "bottle" than a bag tied to a bottle top. The bag part easily folds and rolls up for quick storage or space when not filled. When it is filled, the bottle will stand up on its own and you can leave it around until about 1/4 or less (in which case then the bottle folds well). I am intentionally taking the advice that this is for water only. It is not very temperature protective, using this out in the AZ desert, it was about two hours before the water got to being rather warm (80+) from a starting point of 50. Unfortunately, the size of the hole does not allow for ice to be placed inside, and you cannot remove the top for that purpose. There is a carbiner to attach this bottle to a backpack, which is anchored on the plastic rather than the weaker bag.This bottle does survive being outside in the AZ heat without cracking, so the plastic is at least decent. I am a bit worried about the fold cracking as it seems rather brittle in the heat, but it has so far survived six fills. Cleaning is relatively tough, as there is not a standard bottle brush to go down the opener, and the opener cannot be separated from the bag. Cleaning is a relatively slow water injection and rinsing process.

This water bottle is an interesting idea. It certainly is compact and I could see it being useful for camping or outdoor activities where you need a lightweight option for storage conservation. It seems to be well made it’s just odd when you first see it. It’s like a thick plastic/rubberish material attached to a normal bottle head. I do love the clip attached to the top. When it's filled you can clip it to your bag and when it's not you can fold it up.It doesn’t seem to leak at all which is a good sign. The bottle head works really well it has a snap down top that does a good job of staying closed when you close it. This isn’t a water bottle you would use every day but like I said I could see situations where this is a great bottle to keep for things like camping or emergencies. It isn’t the easiest bottle to clean though. So that’s another reason I wouldn’t use this bottle daily. You can clean the mouthpiece without issues but the bag part is difficult to clean outside of just running water through it.Overall if your an outdoorsman this is a good product to keep on hand. I am going to get use out of it when camping.

Roll up bottles have become a new thing for me ever since they stopped letting you bring water through airport TSA lines. Having the empty bottle in my backpack for a couple of years until I discovered that fordable bottles really were great for travel. When I need them , they are there, when I don't I can store them in a small compartment in my pack instead of having a long plastic tube taking up space. They do not stay put in most side water pockets though due to their flexible nature, so be aware of that.This bottle is pretty sturdy, and has held up well over 4 flights. It's a smaller size than I use normally, so I had to get used to having less water avail and refilling before flight. The carabiner hook is okay, nothing special. Orange and black color scheme is nice, I actually got comments from strangers on it. Overall, a good alternative to have over plastic hard bottles.

This is my first water bottle of this type. It is extremely cool. Very good for traveling. You can even freeze and to keep it cold longer. The colder the water though, the more condensation you will get, so keep that in mind so you don't get things wet. I was impressed that it can stand upright when filled. To get the clip around the bottle when it's rolled up, you have to unsnap the orange clip off of the cap, slide it over the rolled up bottle, then snap it back to the top. I really like this bottle and will use it a lot,

I ordered this based on the raving recommendations of other Vapur users. I wanted a huge water bottle that could lay flat when empty. This is 34 ounces so it's one liter in size, that's huge to me. It can lie flat or be folded up. This makes sense for travel: bring it to the airport empty and fill it up at the water fountain once you are through security. This will save you money compared to buying bottled water from the airport news stand near the gate. I also like it for use at outdoor sport events so I don't have to haul around a heavy empty water bottle once I've consumed the water inside. Rating 5 stars = Love It.

If everyone would use reusable water bottles instead of disposable- the amount of plastic waste would decrease astronomically. This bottle is especially useful because it adds virtually no weight and collapses down to practically nothing when empty. Plus it has a built is carabiner to hook to your belt or backpack. Either squeeze water into your mouth or tip it up and suck on the mouthpiece. I like that you can freeze a partially filled bottle to keep it cold for longer. Just be aware that it does sweat pretty bad since it is not insulated.

OK, I was curious about this and got it for free from the Vines program. So I thought I'd give it a shot.Meh.I's a plastic bag with kinda sharp edges, and a decent bottle cap on it. And a junky plastic carabiner. If you are looking to drink out of a plastic bag, this is for you. You can't sit it down without resealing it, it collapses smaller (but no lighter) than a standard water bottle, it's not insulated so it sweats a lot, and you can't really freeze it like you can with a regular water bottle as the ice can clog up the mouth.For the life of me, I can't imagine where I'd ever want to use this thing. I'd rather have a regular water bottle, or an insulated Yeti or Yeti knockoff. But that's just me...

First thing I did was open this up and use my bloodhound nose to sniff the inside. I am a big baby about stinky containers and other synthetic materials. It passed the smell test. I think the plastic carabiner is pretty cheapy and the lid is somewhat cheap feeling but it actually snaps closed nice and tight, no leaking! I love the idea of carrying this around as a backup water container and I bet it could even be used as a hot water bottle for a sleeping bag as long as you are careful about the temperature of the water your'e putting in it. Could also be used to carry other things like salt/sugar/seeds ....

I filled this with water & left it upside down in the dish drainer overnight – no leaks. I see there are reviews that mention leaking – maybe there was a bad batch. I like to use these foldable bottles when traveling. As they empty, they take up less room in my daybag & of course, they can be rolled up when empty (going thru TSA lines).They can be washed in the dishwasher but I just do it by hand with a bottle brush. The mouth is wide enough to get in & clean.

First the pros:*The water inside it tastes like nothing which is exactly how you want water to taste.*It's very clever and portable.*The lid fits very securely to prevent leaks from the top.And then the cons:*You can't put regular ice in it (though you can freeze the whole thing ahead of a hike or whatever).*It's very difficult to fill without spilling.*The seams are not very secure making me fear leaks are in the not too distant future.I'm really on the fence about this bottle. The idea is super cool and it has a lot of potential. The execution is just not that great, however. I'll put it in my emergency bag because, really, that's the only scenario I can imagine actually wanting to use it in.

Well, we'd say that the description of this as not being a bottle is correct. It's a good storage pouch for water, and it does stand up when full, but a water bottle it's not. For camping, particularly backpacking it will be useful. I would think that it would also be quite useful in an emergency supply kit – especially weather emergencies you can see coming – as you can fill it with water from your tap, but you could also use a Sawyer filter. When empty, it folds or rolls down, and takes almost no space.

I wanted this as an easy to carry bottle for my work bag. I figured that it would fold up easily after I drank the water. It's not quite what I wanted as it turns out. It certainly holds the water well. However, it is flimsy and gets more so as its emptying. It doesn't open easily with one hand. It's also larger than what I need for a work bag but that's my fault for not noticing the amount it contains. With that said, I have to add that this bag (not really a bottle) is probably an excellent choice for a hiking backpack. So while I can't use it for what I intended, I will say add a star because it has good use for hiking. I just don't do much of that unfortunately.
